Traveling by the cleaners again
Taking your time to see where and when
12:45, you'll hit the one red
They're on your side, just hear what she said
There's a hair out of place
Standing in line, fake muscles lift
Ask how they are and don't give a shit
The person behind you has laid in your bed
The closer the quarters the thinner your spread
There's a hair out of place
You're aware that it's fine
More than able to trace
But you won't see the lines
Pretend it's just a phase
A longer book's last page
There's a hair out of place
You're aware that it's fine
More than able to trace
But you won't see the lines
These tracks are straightforward and concise, never relying on gauzy metaphors to complicate her declarations of love. Bandcamp Album of the Day Dec 20, 2017
This is the most interesting album from the discography
Heading into a more country/kind of experimental direction, this project plays with it's sounds every which way it can
Lots of pianos and violins on this one, which I'm usually not a fan of, but I believe it's the way they're arranged which makes this album an exception
I like to think of this as "dad's childhood in the rural area and also watched old horror movies"
